RARE! Beautiful - Antique Silver Plated Pedestal Bowl/Fruit Bowl , Sheffield, Autograph Romy Schneider with sponsor’s mark of Atkin Brothers.1910
Great Atkin Brothers pedestal bowl perfect for fruit, pot pourri, scented wooden fruit etc.Some marks and wear with a couple of small dings commensurate with age and use but still a nice thing.
Atkin Bros worked from 1853 until 1925 when the mark changed, I would guess this piece dates from the Nouveau period 1890 - 1900. Heavy gauge very solid item.
This bowl was supposedly owned by Romy Schneider and was acquired from a private collection.On the bowl from the back there is an autograph of Romy Schneider.
It is a good investment or even the perfect gift.
