Rare! Beautiful - Solid Silver Bowl, Trophy of the Third Reich, World War II (1944), Engelbert Endrass.
This solid silver bowl is belonged to Engelbert Endrass, a German U-boat commander during World War II, from a private collection. UG5W531
Engelbert Endrass was a German submarine commander during World War II. He commanded U-46 and U-567, sinking 22 ships in ten patrols for a total of 118,528 gross register tons of Allied shipping, allegedly the 23rd most senior submarine commander during World War II. Awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves of Nazi Germany. At the time of its presentation to Endrass, it was Germany's highest military decoration.
